Fashion: Animal Print Chic

Animal print is a timeless classic. If done well, it can look so chic. I got this metallic leopard print pencil skirt from

I tried it on and instantly fell in love!

I paired the skirt with a white shirt from H&M buttoned half way and tied at the waist. This could be adapted for a more formal look by tucking into the skirt.

The shoes are an old pair I got from Aldo that I hardly ever wear because they are 6 inch heels that I am just not used to wearing anymore!

The clutch is from Katie Loxton, purchased from John Lewis. I love this clutch, it says:

“All that glitters is not gold”

Super nerdy, but I got this because it reminded me of the poem:

“All that is gold does not glitter,

Not all those who wander are lost;

The old that is strong does not wither,

Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes, a fire shall be woken,

A light from the shadows shall spring;

Renewed shall be blade that was broken,

The crownless again shall be king”

A closer look at my makeup

As the skirt, jewellery and the clutch are all silver, it made sense not to have any gloss/shine in the makeup so I used a matte lipstick – Kylie Cosmetics Boy Bye liquid lipstick and a soft smokey eye.

Here are some other great options that I am currently lusting after:

Halpern Sequined satin mini skirt Net-A-Porter £990

I would style this skirt exactly the same as the one I purchased. Love the zebra print.

**Zebra Foil Print Jacket By Topshop SNO £45 on sale RRP £95

This would look great with jeans or a dress, and would make any outfit stand out. I would pair this with a little black dress, with a black ring handle bag and maybe some black mules and let the jacket speak for itself.

SHEIN Tie Neck Leopard Print Glitter Top & Sequin Skirt Set £11.99 RRP £20.99

I personally would have the skirt without this top, and maybe use the top with some high waisted shorts.

This is the holy grail of all leopard print dresses. Literally love this, especially the collar detail.

I clearly love leopard print, and don’t have enough of it in my life! Loved putting this post together and looking forward to wearing the silver skirt again. How do you feel about leopard print / animal print? Do you wear metallic clothes?
